An allergy skin test is often necessary. Do you have one or several of these symptoms? Contact your GP first, as these symptoms could be caused by other conditions. Your GP may suspect that your symptoms are being caused by an allergy or intolerance. In that case there is a\u00a0compulsory excess. In 2020 you will have a standard excess of \u20ac385 if you are 18 years of age or older. You have to settle this amount with your health insurer. In most cases your health care will still be reimbursed. We do work with a \u2018compensation scheme\u2019. What does that mean? You submit our invoice to your healthcare insurer. You will then only pay us the amount that you get reimbursed.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may also choose to sign an authorisation (\u2018deed of assignment\u2019). With this authorisation we will take care of the financial aspects. We will then submit the invoice to your health care insurer and they will pay us.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An MRI scan is not covered by the compensation scheme. We have made specific arrangements with the health care insurers for MRI scans.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Are you insured with Menzis and attending the DC Klinieken for pain relief? In that case, this care is not covered by the compensation scheme. Depending on your policy, Menzis reimburses 60% to 80% of the current market rates. You will have to pay the difference yourself.
